How to use it

Aspect ratio matters

The aspect ratio is the relationship between width and height. If you change one dimension without the other, the image stretches or squashes. With the ratio lock on, changing the width automatically updates the height (and vice versa) so your image keeps its proportions. Turn the lock off only when you deliberately want a specific non-proportional size.
