Dice Roller
Roll any number of dice with 4 to 100 sides and see each result plus the total.
Roll dice online, anytime
The Dice Roller lets you roll any number of dice with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, or 100 sides, showing each die's result and the combined total. No physical dice required — perfect for board games, tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, classroom activities, or settling a friendly decision. It works instantly in your browser.
Dice for every game
Different games use different dice. A standard board game uses one or two six-sided dice (D6). Tabletop role-playing games use a whole set: the D20 for attack rolls and checks, the D4, D6, D8, D10, and D12 for damage, and the D100 for percentile rolls. This roller covers them all, so you never have to hunt for the right die again.
How to use it
- Choose how many dice to roll (1 to 20).
- Select the number of sides (D4 to D100).
- Click Roll to see each result and the total.
Common dice and their uses
| Die | Typical use |
|---|---|
| D6 | Board games, Yahtzee, casual play |
| D20 | RPG attack rolls and skill checks |
| D4 / D8 / D12 | RPG damage rolls |
| D100 | Percentile rolls |
Fair and convenient
Every roll is independent and random, just like physical dice — no die has a memory of the last roll. A virtual roller also has advantages: it never gets lost under the sofa, it adds up totals for you, and it can roll twenty dice at once without cluttering the table. For online and remote games, it keeps everyone rolling from the same fair source.
Tips
- Rolling multiple dice shows both the individual results and the sum.
- Use the D100 for percentage-based outcomes.
- Great for "roll to decide" when you cannot agree on something.
Private and free
All rolls happen in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no sign-up, and the tool is completely free.
